We received a leaking Poclain MSE02-9 hydraulic motor from this client. It was losing fluid, putting the unit and the system at risk of starvation and malfunctioning. We disassembled, inspected, diagnosed and refurbished the unit using OEM parts before returning it to the client in perfect condition.
This client’s Poclain MSE02-9 hydraulic motor had developed a leak, a common problem with Poclain units and one that we’re well versed in fixing. The MSE02-9 is a 398 cc motor producing 22 kW of power and is commonly used in a wide range of mobile and industrial equipment.
With their motor leaking, the client was forced to halt operations, causing inconvenience and machinery downtime. To give them the best chance of a quick, thorough fix, they sent their motor to our team for diagnosis and repair.
Many Poclain units still in use are now obsolete, but we have the skills and parts to repair all of them.
As soon as we received this MSE02-9 from our client, one of our expert engineers began the process of disassembly and diagnosis. The issue was found to be in the seals, which we replaced, along with the bearings, using new OEM parts.
With key parts replaced, we then carefully reassembled the unit according to OEM specifications and tested it using our in-house rig. This allows us to simulate normal working conditions, ensuring the motor was working as new, before sending it back to the client.
After completing our repairs and thoroughly testing the Poclain MSE02-9 unit, we returned it to the client as good as new and completely leak-free. They were able to quickly reinstall it and resume normal operations, with our repair work ensuring a dependable fix for the foreseeable future.
